In 2013, the “Amberfish” brand was created out of passion for fish in the beautiful town of Nīca on the coast of the Baltic Sea. Referring to the old Latvian culinary traditions, excellent taste quality and respect for the most valuable treasure of the Baltic – amber. Original Latvian sprats are caught in the Baltic Sea and smoked on beech wood in specialized stoves using beech wood chips. Amberfish sprats are distinguished by high quality and are dynamically gaining popularity and recognition on the international market.
